Christmas tooling update
This post is to keep you right up to date with the latest enclosure manufacturing progress, but first we would like to thank you all for your messages of support since the news that our Wildlife Cam Kit enclosure was delayed.
The PlantPot Bot
We’ve got our hands on a limited edition (only 100 made) PlantPot Bot from our friends at the Raspberry Pi Foundation!
Injection moulding delay & progress
To provide you with a better understanding of the cause of the tooling delay, we’ve detailed the technical tooling process that was initiated back in August. Together with our tooling contractor, we have also highlighted the steps necessary to ensure a quality finish that ultimately led to this frustrating, yet now necessary delay.
Preparing for delivery and the weeping willow
It’s all hands on deck as we prepare your kits and rewards for shipping. Over the next 2 weeks we’ll keep you up to date as we receive the final components and prepare to ship over 300 kits to our fantastic community (that’s you!).
The rather incredible Pi Zero
At only $5 dollars, the Pi Zero was actually available as a magazine cover gift with the fabulous MagPi magazine this week.
